If you wish to become an EMT or Paramedic in Florida you must complete an approved EMT or Paramedic program and pass a State exam. You may view a list of Training Centers by clicking here:

If you are already certified from another State you may be able to challenge the Florida exam. You will need to contact the Florida Bureau of EMS at (850) 245-4440. You may also click on the Bureau's link listed above for more information. 

If you are an EMT or Paramedic and from outside the United States you will need to contact the Florida Bureau of EMS. Each case is different so you will need to follow the direction of the Bureau. The phone number is 850-245-4440. In order to participate in any EMT or Paramedic program and to take any State exam you must have a United States Social Scurity number.
